Welcome to the ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas Quilt-Along—the 10th annual Jen Daly Quilts Holiday QAL!

This year’s project was inspired by the classic poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” by Clement Clarke Moore and the cozy Christmas Eve that it describes. ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas is a 44½” x 48½” quilted wall-hanging. Because of its unique layout and to ease assembly, we’ll be making it one section at a time. The materials list includes small cuts of several different colors/prints to give the quilt a scrappy look, so this project is a great one to make with your stash. Feel free to make the project your own by using fewer prints or by adding even more!

The ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas QAL will begin on Monday, December 2nd. It’s free for all and there’s no need to sign up. Every Monday and Thursday from December 2nd – December 23rd, I’ll release an instruction sheet for a different section of the project. Instruction sheets will be available here on the quilt-along page (below) and email subscribers will receive emails containing links for each day’s instructions. If you’d like to sign up for email updates, you can do so below. The instruction sheets will be available through Christmas.
